While roasting green coffee beans there chemical properties get change. Roasting coffee beans can gives some particular taste to a coffee and roasting type affects on the final flavor of the brew. There are two types of coffee beans Arabica and Robusta and Arabica is the most demanding form of coffee worldwide. Arabica beans are roasted lightly to preserve the maximum taste and Robusta beans roasted little longer for the sake to bring a good taste to brew. Mostly commonly the terms Light roast and Dark Roast Coffee used to describe how long the coffee has been roasted.

These days an average person is more health conscious just because of the incurable and enigmatic diseases and they are curious enough to know what contents are catered in he preparation of the food and for this reason food manufacturing companies are now printing their contents and nutritional values at the back of their packages just to satisfy the consumer urge about the nutritional values. In terms of coffee people like Dark Roast Coffee as compare to the normal coffee bean because of its rich flavor. As far as roasting is concerned it is a fact and we all acknowledge this that by roasting anything of high temperature that thing loses its water content and interestingly a Dark Roast Coffee beans gets bigger as compare to the un roasted bean.
